Hong Kong smog by day bright lights by night.

This place is amazing. The scenic view is incredible. Such a small land space and they manage to cramp in everything. Its like fitting 2 jumbo jets into Manjaro Restaurant. A Hong Kong Architect will tell you it can be done. To me , this city is more vibrant in life and colours than Singapore.

PENANG STREETS....NOV 2006

My penang trip this November was exceptionally a great one. Supposedly one of onlyColonial fusion places of Malaysia where East meets West but in a more reverse style. By this, I mean that the old Colonialism Architecture of Penang has been much keep untouched and modernism has only crept the inside the these great old Colonial Buildings.
RESPECT THE OLD AND GUIDE THE CHILDREN WITH RESPECT TO CULTURE

Let me take you fellow bloggers into my Penang experience.

One Tip my fellow bloggers. If any of you plan to go Penang.......Try the coach service which is only RM$50 one way. Check this out, My mom and Priscilla in the 4 hour coach to Penang

Turned out pretty fun with all the smiles and joy after I opened a bottle of a really good bottle of White Wine

Make sure u guys pay attention to some of the signs you get in Penang. Its definitely a Sign culture wherever you go.

Amazingly coloured with all religions and cultures. Check this out a Muslim nation with Mosques, Hindu Temples, Chinese Temples, Buddha Statues and all of them practising their beliefs openly and peacfully. UNITED NATIONS eat cha heart out.

Penang's First Hot Spot. Their famous Chendol is must try. Standing all around us are people from Singapore, Malaysians on holdiday from other states all queing to try this most famous chendol stall which has apparently been open for over 50 years.

Of course you have to try Penang's famous Hawker stalls at the start of GURNEY DRIVE. Food was not that great for me. I guess once you have tried so much hawker stalls in your life like me....they are all pretty much the same to me low quality at low prices ....can't expect too much when everything is cheap. Plus its all carbo and I like my meats...But the variety is awesome...Still in my mind a must see and must try just for the experience.

Hey Penang may look a bit dry and dusty during the day but wait till the clock strikes ten pm ....yes everything all of a sudden energises and comes alive..BARS...CLUBS..RESTAURANTS...BISTROS...you name it ..their all their
Yes, my kind of place at night.

Another advise is Penang's Taxi transport is quite costly for most tourist. They don't use meters but come out with excuses that its flat rates and they all work together with these rates , so there is really no use to haggle taxi prices. So be smart rent a car like us but beware the small cars you might end up renting. Its fun and its a holiday anyway so who cares. You get to travel anywhere you want all day and it only cost RM$120

Check out this nice cosy hotel we found in Batu Feringgi with an awwesome restaurant sitting next to a pool .. Great Scenery. Bring your cameras..

Check this out. Penang has Malaysia's 7th best restaurant in its arena. Fantastic place , looks so nice feels so great, inside ambience is class act and the food is gastronomically delightful.

And Priscilla is happy ...so am I ..it was a great holiday and better still we got to enjoy it with my Super golfer MOM....

Yo My old cool friends jacky and Kat are coming to visit us in Brunei all the way from Hong Kong. The news is that my dear old friend jacky who use call me fat is busy going gym to prepare hisself to have a hot body before he arrives here in Brunei. Otherwise he will get me calling him FAT BACK.....So Jacky if you are reading this get busy with the gym and don't stop till you drop or picture me laughin and calling you back mr. jacky ........Have fun at the gym .. I think I better go gym too myself otherwise we sill calling ech other fat back over and over again over drinks and playstation

Did you guys know that Manjaro Name comes from the word KILIMANJARO. The tallest mountain in Africa Tanzania.

It means the roof of the world and its the land of elephants.....thats why we have elephants arund the retaurant

WHY I CAN"T STOP DOING WHAT I DO?

Teh Tarik, Coffee, Juice, Soft drinks, Beer & Liquor. In reality we humans only require water which makes up over 90% of our whole body. I call this "human drinking evolution" which has cause our species to have totally screwed up our genetical codes to require everything else but pure water. Our ancestors from the the first living man or maybe even the ape we are supposed to have come from are responsible for what we drink today. It could have possbibly & probably started from the the first living ape man discovering that the water out of a broken half coconut taste hell of a lot better then licking out of a stream or puddle. Sounds of coconut knockings probably evolved to sounds of glasses clinking everyday at bars, restuarants and gatherings with voices shouting "CHEERS".

After a heavy session as all my sessions are everytime i hold a glass of my favourite potent beverage in my hand, I wondered last night in my blissful & dreamy state of mind WHY DO I DRINK like a MOFU.

The sudden light bulb flickering above my head answered "EVOLUTION" left me with no hope but to drink or should I say I am like most humans genetically programmed to drink for my survival what ever the beverage is. Its not a psychological disorder to like drinking but a instinct in our animal nature to drink to survive. Drinking gives us everything we need in life to to survive our ordeals in life whether its good or bad. We need to drink to live, to socialise and make friendships, to COMMUNICATE to build our lives in personal or business, to make a living to live and provide for ourselves and family.....you name it and it all relates. It makes you strong and feel like a shark has to do what it has to do to survive get into the deep blue sea.


So I say to all my friends out there. Don't think drinking is a bad thing. Drinking is COMMUNICATION OF SURVIVAL. Its not complicated but actually plain simple. Whatever your beverage you like, be it Tea, Coffee, sweet flavoured liquids, alcohol...if it makes you feel good inside then drink it and you will live with a great life with friends that will kepp you company till its your time to leave. Sugar Rushes & Hangovers are normal. Drinkers are GREAT WHITE Sharks and Non drinkers are missing out to share the most important thing in life which started out in a coconut holding a beverage of life.
